 If you read my blog post last week about Portland, you'll recall that during my trip to Portland, we took a day tour of Kennebunkport. About 40 minutes from Portland in southern Maine, Kennebunkport is an idyllic coastal town. A picturesque, breezy town with beautiful waterfronts, cascading narrow roads, and gorgeous houses. Visiting Kennebunkport can make anyone happy, whether you want to rent a bike, sail on the water, eat lobster, stroll through the beautiful square with melting ice cream, or shop in the colorful stores and boutiques.

Experience the spirit of Dock Square - The lifeline and heart of Kennebunkport is Dock Square, offering a diverse range of dining options, from lobster rolls to natural ice cream, and a multitude of excellent eateries. Explore one-of-a-kind shopping and art galleries. Don't forget to click a photo with the Kennebunkport sign on the Lanigan Bridge. It is touristy but worth clicking. 








Cape Porpoise - If Dock Square is the spirit of Kennebunkport, then Cape Porpoise is the Solace of Kennebunkport. A quiet escape with a gorgeous waterfront, the best view of the Goat Island lighthouse, with few eating spots. Cape Porpoise is a fishing village with a wide spread of views, floating boathouses, narrow roads, and whatnot.






Walker's Point—Walker's Point is truly depicted as a quintessential coastal Maine Charm. You can take a drive, and there are stopping points where you can park your car or bike and take a glimpse of deep blue water and rugged coast, along with gorgeous homes and former president George Bush's vacation home. Don't miss out; stop at St. Ann's Church lookout point to watch the sailboats.

Seashore Trolley Museum - Riding through history back in time with a guide in a vintage trolley is a fun, educational, and relaxing experience. It features and displays trolleys and buses of a bygone era on huge grounds with a walkable area. You can also visit the gift shop, which offers a variety of collectibles, books, and more. It is one of the fine places to go with family and kids.

    Love the water front of Cape Porpoise. Looks absolutely beautiful. Always wanted to visit Maine for their seafood dishes. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

It was a usual February day, the chill felt like tucking in the furry comforter and stay cozy at home.
