  A cultural maven, Sitting in the southern parts of Vermont , this small, hilly town has a sauve yet cozy small-town vibe. About four hours from NYC or 2 hours from Boston is doable in a day or two, or you can take a day trip. It is a perfect retreat for a city hustler or if you want to escape from the mundane. It is a four-season retreat; however, I would love to visit Manchester in the fall. I love how the picturesque town of Newengland blazed with vivid color. I love visiting beautiful farms bestowed upon nature's bounty and have always enjoyed apple cider donuts and ice cream, to name a few. I love to see the town, if we call it a town, but not very hurried. It has an old-world charm with one-of-a-kind hotels, inns, and historic churches.    New England and its iconic fall foliage season; if you are in Stowe, you probably should thank your stars because this is the place that truly turns into a fall wonderland. True synonyms of New England Charm and beauty are engulfed in crimson vistas, displaying dotted colors against the backdrop of green mountains, barns, and farms; everything is magical here.  Last year I blogged about the best places to visit in Stowe, Vermont and this year I will take you through the best instaworthy places where you can take the best pictures while smitten by the beauty of fall foliage.   1. Grand View Barn—Barns are a quintessential part of Vermont's beautiful landscape, and the Grand View Barn is something that you just can't miss. In Vermont , every place is engulfed in its unique beauty and charm. Last year, we visited Woodstock, and if you visit Woodstock, you must add these three places to your list, too. Quechee Gorge and Village - You can take a hot air balloon ride or walk on the bridge to witness this beauty. The deepest gorge in Vermont is 165 feet deep, located on Route 4. You can hike down for more wonderful views.  Just a few minutes away is the Quechee Village, with a lovely set of fruit vendors, maple syrup, candy, and antique shops in Alpaca. I often love to escape from my mundane life to somewhere quaint, where I can let myself meld in nature and at the same time with the culture, the food, and this is what I often long for in my monotonous life.  I have visited many places in  Vermont,  but Stowe was on my list for a long time.  As the pandemic halted life for so many of us in several ways, I decided to visit Stowe in the fall.  Even though Stowe is popular with ski goers, the fall beauty of Stowe is unparalleled, as if nature has created its own leisure time.
