Hello Mumbai in 24 hours and top 4 things to do


      When we planned our Mumbai trip it was initially a two days trip but because of a technical issue on our fight made everything not what we expected. We had only  24 hours to explore. Mumbai is huge and 24 hours is too short to explore thanks to my cousin and his wife who helped us get a good glimpse of the city even for such a short time. Look forward to visiting Mumbai and know more with more time.


      The city of charm, the city of dreams where dreams rise every day with the rising skyscrapers. Magnificent, one of a kind India's financial capital and home to the world's 2nd largest movie industry, city of starts yet city of slums and alluring history and heritage.
      The Bustling city offers the most breathtaking vistas to monuments to, eminent architecture and varied and exotic food to world-class shopping. No wonder why Mumbai is India's one dream destination.





1. Marine drive - You want to get the vibe of Mumbai then you shouldn't miss visiting Marine drive. Picturesque, and great place for people to watch and go for a jog or lazy strolling.  Exuberant Mumbai's ethereal charm known as queen necklace is the night's glory and glitters of Mumbai. In spite of the crowd flocking all the time, you feel surprised by the sense of serenity and peace this place manifests.



2. Eat-in Mumbai's oldest landmark restaurant - Experience eating Persian food in Mumbai's oldest opened in 1923, Britania and company the colonial interior with the charm of an era gone by and the glimpse of Persian influence in Mumbai and have the taste of best berry pulao you ever tasted. Only open for lunch.



3. Shop in Colaba causeway - Busy and vivid Callaba causeway is a street style arrey of open shops. Homedecor, clothes to jewelry and souvenirs to name a few, what you don't get in Collaba causeway. Get lost and loot in some ethenic and one of a kind pieces.  Here you will need some good bargaining skill. Fun and frolic.




4. Stroll around the Iconic Gateway of India - Take some selfies with One of the Iconic monuments of India and you just can't miss grandeur Taj Hotel next to it. The Gateway of India was built to commemorate the 1911 royal visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai and was inaugurated on  4th December 1924.
