A mini guide how to visit Keukenhof Garden

 









Keukenhof Garden, called Garden of Europe, 79 acres of a tantalizing tapestry of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths with a rhapsody of colors, is a dream and beyond borders cause of its idyllic beauty. And people visit across the borders to experience nature's splendor.  A stunning display of colors and meandering small canal-like waterways makes the park pure magic. It is one of the most visited destinations during the tulip season. However, being one of the popular destinations makes it crowded. A few tips can ease your trip.

✦Transportation or How to visit
Take the Keukenhof Express bus 858
( Schiphol Airport) , Bus 852 ( RAI), Bus 850 ( Haarlem) & Bus 854 ( Leiden )
If you are taking TraIN
Take a train from Amsterdam
The nearest stations to Keukenhof Tulip Garden are:
1. Lisse
2. Hillegom
If you are renting a bike, 
rent from Keukenhof/Lisse/ Hillegom
✦ 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍: The Tulip season typically starts in March until early-mid May(weather dependent)! But the best time to visit is mid-April when the flowers are best. However, it depends on the year and the weather.
Opening Hours: Keukenhof is open seasonally between March 20 and May 11, and the opening hours are 8:00 am to 7:30 pm
✦How to Get the Tickets. You can get the tickets from Kekunhof’s official website. or any other website

children between 4-17= 9Euro for
children under 3= free for
Tips: Getting tickets a week or 2 weeks before always helps you to get your desired or convenient time slot. Also, guaranteeing your entry at the gate is quite difficult as too many people in the lines.
Parks get crowded after 10 am. Getting the ticket earlier than 10 or later in the evening can surely help avoid the whirlpool of crowds.
Wearing comfortable shoes is a must ...as it requires walking and sometimes gets a little wet or muddy.
You need at least 3-4 hours to explore and enjoy the park
The Garden has a cafeteria/food hall since it’s crowded bringing food and water surely makes your job easier.

Jurun...an assamese beautiful pre-wedding ceremony

  Indian weddings encompass many beautiful ceremonies and traditions. In Assamese culture, Jurun is a pre-wedding ceremony. It usually occurs a day or two before the wedding day, sometimes even on the same day of the wedding.
