Artists Bluff Trailhead- One of the most scenic views and vistas engulfing Echo Lake and Canon Mountain, this 1.5-mile hiking trail is surely worth visiting. A sheer mix of exploration and challenge, it is a little steep and rocky, but the view is breathtaking. The only drawback is that it is overcrowded. If you want to avoid the crowd, consider visiting early in the morning or on weekdays. A good gripping shoe is a must.
Crawford Notch State Park - Compared to the white Mountains, Crawford Notch is a little less talked about, yet this is one of the places that is truly charming, whether you are an avid hiker or a laid-back tourist. Crowford Noth offers incredible trails, picturesque waterfalls, pristine lakes, and many vistas. Whether you stop by Willy's Historic House or many beautiful vistas or cascades, it will mesmerize you.
Driving away on Kancamagus Highway - When it comes to fall in NH, it is no secret that Kanc Highway is the most visited, talked about, and iconic. Here, every corner is packed with fall panoramas. Get ready to immerse yourself in the sea of crimson, pink, orange, and yellow. Whether you stop by charismatic covered bridges, gorges, waterfalls, or overlooks, this 34-mile highway has everything you want to experience in the fall season in New England. My favorites are Lower Fall, Sabbaday Falls, Sugarhill Overlook, Lincoln Woods Trail, Suspension Bridge, and Albany Coverbridge.
Explore a quaint little town - There is nothing as ultimate as exploring a quaint little town in the fall in New Hampshire. Every city boasts not just the beauty of its foliage, but you will also be intrigued by its history or seasonal flavors. New Hampshire is filled with lovely towns, but when it comes to Sugar Hill, it's unique and offbeat. Whether you want to drive around and take in the beautiful vistas everywhere, stop by and be smitten by the serenity of Saint Matthew's Chapel, or enjoy the overlook at Sunset Hill, or eat at the oldest Poly's pancake parlor, Sugarhill is fall-ready.
Beautiful!!
