Global Fashion Collective NYFW S/S24 -Hyper Culture Collection and Justin Jacob Louis

I have attended the NYFW Global Fashion Collective for the last couple of seasons. It's always wonderful to experience shows by many talented designers across the globe and cross-culture. Global Fashion Collective has always left us impressed by bringing such a forefront of the NYFW which they are known for.

-This time, I attended two shows; the 1st was by Hyper Culture Collection. This runway show was unveiled with casual, innovative, quirky, ready-to-wear pieces. Designer Satoshi Shinada's creativity behind this brand's denim, jersey, and sweatshirt with graffiti and interesting phrases dominated this collection. A couple walking as a bridegroom patronizing jeans attire in the runways indeed added innovation and an out-of-the-box idea. The whole collection is vibrant and youthful with a dose of rebelliousness.

The 2nd show was by Justin Jacob Louis. His debut in NYFW was unfolded with indigenous dancing, surely heartwarming, aspirational, and energetic. There are good, boring, and exciting shows, but Justin Jacob Louis's show was unforgettable. The brain behind the Creative Director and Founder of SECTION 35 streetwear brand Juston Jacob's sensible thought behind the NYFW debut fashion first, not fast fashion, is admirable. Understated and elegant long knit, checkered coats, featured in his creation inspired by nature and stars. The black and white leopard floor-swapping coat was a showstopper from his collection.

Jurun...an assamese beautiful pre-wedding ceremony

Indian weddings encompass many beautiful ceremonies and traditions. In Assamese culture, Jurun is a pre-wedding ceremony. It usually occurs a day or two before the wedding day, sometimes even on the same day of the wedding. It was a usual February day, the chill felt like tucking in the furry comforter and stay cozy at home. But, the matter of the fact was that it was my birthday and my family wanted me to take out for dinner. I was reluctant and wanted to stay at home. My little one was after me and I couldn't say no.
