Rockport, Massachusetts


With the invention of science and technology, everything is accessible and achievable, but there are some places synced in modernity that uphold the old world and era gone by. And you just relive the yesteryears visiting them. Rockport, Massachusetts is such a place engulfed in the coastline with quintessential New-England charm. About 40 miles north from Boston encircled by the Atlantic at the tip of the Cape Ann peninsula. There are beaches, galleries, quaint shops, eateries, and the festive feel throughout the town is irresistible.

One of the most iconic to Rockport and photographers-painters dream full of character and charm. Motif#1 was tarnished in the 1978 blizzard but in the same year, the replica was completed. One of the most seemingly painted houses in the world. An active fishing village this picturesque building is set against the backdrop of water vistas of the harbor. The choice is yours, want to take pictures, canvas, or heart it forever. Different timing of the day always gives different views. 


Bearskin Neck





It is a fantastic feeling walking down Bearskin's neck. The coolest yet quaint street draws attention to full of quint of artsy shops, art galleries, and bistros. Cutsy handcrafted stores, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and boutique-style clothing to adore. We had one of the best ice creams there. Here is an amazing directory that will make your shopping easy.

Keeping it simple-random things about me

Hello my dear readers, how are you all doing? Summer vacation has just started here on the east coast. My kids are having a gala time. I can't tell you how time is flying. My time is all occupied by them. Taking to them, playing with them, take them to the library, reading stories and most importantly cooking their favorite food. Hence thought, I'll keep it simple and straightforward. It has been more than a year now, and I have shared so many things about my life, travel, fashion, etc. Today I'll share a few random thoughts about me. 1. My favorite color - Navy blue, peach and off-white. Not that I don't wear any other color, but those colors are readily available in my wardrobe. 2. My favorite outfit - In western I love to wear a crisp white top and blue jeans. I know very casual. In Indian, I love sarees. Mostly, I love handwoven and handwork ones. I love salwar kurta too. Bartaco, West Hartford , Connecticut review

It was a usual February day, the chill felt like tucking in the furry comforter and stay cozy at home. But, the matter of the fact was that it was my birthday  and my family wanted me to take out for dinner. I was reluctant and wanted to stay at home. My little one was after me and I couldn't say no. I had no clue where we were heading for dinner and then here we were at the Bartaco. Vivacious Bartaco instantly took away my winter sluggishness. With a gracious greeting, modern contemporary laid back sitting and a bit of hustle and bustle made me alive in the winter freezing February. The high ceiling, ivory walls, earthy light shades stroked a tropical vibe and the food spoke a lot about Mexico and Latin America. As a sober, I chose housemade pomegranate lemonade and hubby got grapefruit ginger juice.
