If I say NYC is full of wonders it will be an understated statement. Every time I visit the city, something new awaits to surprise me. Whereas this multifaceted city is considered one the most expensive city in the world, there are so many things in the city that you can do without spending a penny and experience the quintessential NYC vibes.  Here you go  Central Park - Don't know how many years I have been visiting Central Park. The quaint and lush green park in the spring and summer, vivid leaves in fall, and solitary winter every season is unique visiting this park. I love the contrast of the park, the skyscrapers on the backdrop, and the wide greenery spread across amidst the hustle and bustle. Not just tourists but New Yorkers find solace in their claustrophobic city life. Jog, walk, picnic, or inhale a fresh breath of air.       In the hustle and bustle and in the bustling corners of  NYC the 1st time I visited the city, I wondered where the people in the city go for a quiet corner! Do the people have any place to escape where they want to enjoy nature or some quiet corner? Then I visited the central park, the greenery of the park was quite different and what bliss to come from the city of sky scrappers and to enter into the world of greenery.        And a few weeks back when I visited the city, I discovered Greenwood cemetery. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it was a great find to see the nature and spend some time alone or with family, lines of green trees, swiping view of the city, lakes, flowers, sculptures and what not. Most amazingly you can see the city showering in the pink cherry blossom. Farm Cafe(Breakfast) ...        A mindful morning. As a foodie, my mindful morning always has to do with a fresh, scrumptious breakfast. When I was looking for breakfast at lake placid, I came across only a few restaurants. Honestly, the name Farm Cafe magnate me.       A tidy and cozy set up with a bar Farm Cafe have a great ambiance. As I went through the menu, I was looking for whole wheat or multi-grain bread, but they don't have that option. So, I stuck with veg omelet and house fries with coffee. The omelet was deliciously fluffy. Wish the vegetables were little fresher would have made the taste even better.       Husband got breakfast burritos, again it was a white flour burrito, but stuffing is definitely great with eggs, cheese, and veg fillings.       Kids got flapjack and hot chocolate.         Entering into the month of March, I started harboring a hope of spring. Spring is all about wonderful weather and flower power.  Staying in New England , I always look forward to spring after a freezing winter and a few months of hibernation. I look forward going out for outdoor fun with my two kids. New York , the city has always offered best of everything.
