Bandra, Mumbai .....connecting, creating and coexisting

A few years back, when I visited Mumbai , I touched the major tourist spots in Mumbai.  After a few years, I now have the opportunity to visit several neighborhoods in  Mumbai .  Bandra is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Mumbai. Synonymous with the residence of many Bollywood celebrities. Growing up in the 1990s as a kid in India, there's no way you weren't exposed to Bollywood. Bollywood is not just about movies but also about a star-studded life. Back then, social media had no influence, yet I heard about the affluent suburb of Mumbai, Bandra, where many stars reside. In the 1920s, people who visited Mumbai made sure to visit Bandra to see Manat, the home of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Also, to get a glimpse of the superstar. Today's Bandra is hip, utterly modern, and a great hub for fashion, eateries, art, music, and more. The Arabian Sea encompasses Bandra, which embodies the coexistence of diverse cultures, communities, religions, and socioeconomic s...

Pyrgos Greece a picturesque hamlet

When it comes to the beautiful island villages of  Greece,  Oia and Fira come to our mind instantly, but Greece has a total of 1400 different islands with unique villages. Pyrgos is such a village that boasts unparalleled charm and tranquility. Filled with blue domes, cave houses, ruins, gorgeous cafes, one-of-a-kind shops, souvenirs, and the most preserved medieval village with intriguing centuries-old history.  It's worth a trip if you are visiting Santorini, as it is only 5 miles (8 kilometers) away from Fira, the capital of Santorini.  This ancient capital of Santorini and also the tallest village of Santorini, Pyrgos, is full of whitewashed Cycladic architecture, and this village can be traced back to the 13th century. There are 48 churches here, and the Church of Agios Nikolaos, at the top of the mountain overlooking the village, is stunning.  Far away from the bustling crowd of Oia and Fira, Pyrgos is an absolute serene escape from the crowd. Brown's Harvest Sunflower Field, Connecticut

Summer days on the east coast are precious, probably because it does not stay for prolong period and so does the sunflower fields. We love visiting them. This weekend we are traumatized by Henri but somehow survived.     A few days back we visited and marveled at the Sunflower Field in Brown Harvest Farm. It was a little different than Lyman's Sunflower field . A wide-open field with quintessential New England red barn and sunflower-inspired photo props was quite a wonderful experience. Like Layman's, you can also shop for local produces.  They hold a two-weekend Sunflower Festival during this time too. Because of the Covid 19, we decided to avoid the fair, we simply visited the field. Sharing my clicks.
