If I say NYC is full of wonders it will be an understated statement. Every time I visit the city, something new awaits to surprise me. Whereas this multifaceted city is considered one the most expensive city in the world, there are so many things in the city that you can do without spending a penny and experience the quintessential NYC vibes.

Central Park - Don't know how many years I have been visiting Central Park. The quaint and lush green park in the spring and summer, vivid leaves in fall, and solitary winter every season is special visiting this park. I love the contrast of the park and how the skyscrapers on the backdrop and the wide greenery spread across amidst the hustle and bustle. Not just tourists but New Yorkers find solace in their claustrophobic city life. Jog, walk, picnic, or inhale the fresh breath of air the answer is central park. There are numerous viewpoints, lakes, bridges, gardens, terraces, sculptures you just name it.

Brooklyn Bridge - This hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge is the iconic site of NYC. Walking in the city overlooking the manhattan and Brooklyn skyline is a surreal experience. Featured in numerous movies and photographs this bridge is easily any traveler's favorite attraction for decades. Visiting the bridge in the morning as early as possible is a good idea to escape the crowd.

Pier 1 Park - Without vising Pier 1 Park, your visit to NYC will be incomplete. The stunning and twinkling views across the East River of Downtown Manhattan including the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty from a distance in the evening is an unforgettable experience and it is beautiful any time of the day you visit. This 85-acre park is 1.3 miles long and taking a walk you will always come across so many beautiful yet hidden spots.

Dumbo - (Down Under The Manhattan Bridge Overpass) A up-close view of the iconic Brooklyn bridge and surrounded by industrial-era buildings and skyline this place is ideal for sipping a cup of tea or coffee or grabbing a sandwich in the nearby cafe.

Washington Square Park - Popularly known as a park for people. Located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of lower Manhattan the best place to watch people with plenty of benches to sit and admire the architecture and enjoy the music performances played by musicians.

Hello my dear readers, how are you all doing? Summer vacation has just started here on the east coast. My kids are having a gala time. I can't tell you how time is flying. My time is all occupied by them. Taking to them, playing with them, take them to the library, reading stories and most importantly cooking their favorite food. It was a usual February day, the chill felt like tucking in the furry comforter and stay cozy at home.
