Attending Global Fashion Collective NYFW F/W23

Can't believe we are in the 3rd week of February. February is one of the most important months of the year in my life as I was born this month and I gave birth to my son. And from the last year, it has been more special as I am attending NYFW. For every fashion blogger, attending NYFW is not just a fun event but also a lot of learning and unlearning and exposure to a whole lot of creative genius, whether a designer, blogger, stylist, or model, just name it.

This year also, I attended Global Fashion Collective in NYFW. Global Fashion Collective is synonymous with bringing talented designers to NYFW from around the Globe.

NOLO

This season, we are amazed at the presentation of NOLO, a designer from Mexico who displayed a mix of adult and kids' fashion wear. From earthy tones to neon and bright oranges adorned in his collection. Luis Corrales, better known as Manolo, is the emergent head designer of the NOLO brand based in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He was inspired by NYC Street style after visiting NYC, and his collection in NYFW F/W23 reflects NYC Street styles' cool, casual, and vibrant theme.

HEEYONGHeE

Designer Hee-yong Shin of the brand 'HEEYONGHeE' is a new-age fashion designer who debuted by participating in New York Fashion Week. HEEYONGHeE NYFW F/W23 Collection is called 'SPATIALIMSM'. A women's collection of brimming earthy tones reflects the elegantly feminine style in contemporary cuts and silhouettes. A true representation of clothing for modern-age women.

What I wore

I wore a jewel tone green wide-leg relaxed fitted pantsuit and added a belt in the middle for more definition, a contemporary designer bag, and a large statement gold earring. My makeup was bold, and my hair had a soft curl. Hope you like this look.

Indian weddings encompass many beautiful ceremonies and traditions. In Assamese culture, Jurun is a pre-wedding ceremony. It usually occurs a day or two before the wedding day, sometimes even on the same day of the wedding. It was a usual February day, the chill felt like tucking in the furry comforter and stay cozy at home. But, the matter of the fact was that it was my birthday and my family wanted me to take out for dinner. I was reluctant and wanted to stay at home. My little one was after me and I couldn't say no.
