4 Instagrammable places Stowe, Vermont




   New England and its iconic fall foliage season; if you are in Stowe, you probably should thank your stars because this is the place that truly turns into a fall wonderland. True synonyms of New England Charm and beauty are engulfed in crimson vistas, displaying dotted colors against the backdrop of green mountains, barns, and farms; everything is magical here. Last year I blogged about the best places to visit in Stowe, Vermont and this year I will take you through the best instaworthy places where you can take the best pictures while smitten by the beauty of fall foliage.  


1. Grand View Barn—Barns are a quintessential part of Vermont's beautiful landscape, and the Grand View Barn is something that you just can't miss. A 100-year-old structure, now protected under the Stowe Land Trust, is situated on a steep hill and surrounded by Hogback Mountain. A long, narrow passage on the side makes it look like a postcard. 







2.  Thompson Park farm and a corn maze - If you envision fall foliage in New England with tall trees, carpeted with fallen leaves, meadows in the background, rustic bridges, and a cherry on top, the corn maze encompasses vistas of the Green Mountains, where you can take your dream photos.  





3. Church view or Stowe Community Church and Stow Village - No Stowe trip or photo session would be complete without clicking the iconic photo of this Church view and quaint and Cute Stowe village, where every view is frame-worthy.  




4. The boardwalk by Barnes Camp is photo-worthy, featuring stunning scenery of Smugglers' Notch, wetlands, and vibrant fall hues.

Jurun...an assamese beautiful pre-wedding ceremony

  Indian weddings encompass many beautiful ceremonies and traditions. In Assamese culture, Jurun is a pre-wedding ceremony. It usually occurs a day or two before the wedding day, sometimes even on the same day of the wedding. A tradition where the groom’s family, especially women, visit the bride's family to present the wedding trousseau (Mekhela chadar), jewelry, some makeup, and accessories. In my belief, a tradition that welcomes the bride to her new family with gifts, love, and blessings.  On the day of Jurun, Aam Dali godha (A stringed mango leaf) is a tradition and is tied over the door. Bartaco, West Hartford , Connecticut review

It was a usual February day, the chill felt like tucking in the furry comforter and stay cozy at home. But, the matter of the fact was that it was my birthday  and my family wanted me to take out for dinner. I was reluctant and wanted to stay at home. My little one was after me and I couldn't say no.
