Visit to Summitwynd Farm lavender festival in Massachusetts




     

  There is a charming thing about summer when you visit flower fields, especially lavender. Hot summer days slowly give way to a subtle and calm breeze. When you see rows of lavender, it's a delightful feeling. This week, we visited Summitwynd Lavender Farm in Massachusetts, approximately 1.5 hours from my state, Connecticut, and 30 miles from Boston, Massachusetts.  






There are 4,000 lavender plants and more than 20 varieties of lavender in a beautiful location, set against the backdrop of the lush greenery of Wachusett Mountain. The soft fragrance of lavender is a wonderful experience. You can visit the farm for a festival or at any time. With live music and exhibitions with unique vendors, you can collect art pieces, pottery to dream catchers, and several opportunities to photograph or stroll on a summer afternoon with your family or friends. You can pick fresh lavender, too, and there is a cute gift shop where you can buy lavender plants, soap, and one-of-a-kind goodies related to lavender. 








A few facts in a snippet 
1. Buy the ticket earlier and online before your visit, as tickets are available online only
2. Weekend hours are different and less than weekday hours.
3. You can absolutely bring children, too; they will enjoy visiting

Jurun...an assamese beautiful pre-wedding ceremony

  Indian weddings encompass many beautiful ceremonies and traditions. In Assamese culture, Jurun is a pre-wedding ceremony. It usually occurs a day or two before the wedding day, sometimes even on the same day of the wedding. Bartaco, West Hartford , Connecticut review

It was a usual February day, the chill felt like tucking in the furry comforter and stay cozy at home.
