Hello Mumbai in 24 hours and top 4 things to do


      When we planned our Mumbai trip it was initially a two days trip but because of a technical issue on our fight made everything not what we expected. We had only  24 hours to explore. Mumbai is huge and 24 hours is too short to explore thanks to my cousin and his wife who helped us get a good glimpse of the city even for such a short time. Look forward to visiting Mumbai and know more with more time.


      The city of charm, the City of Dreams, where dreams rise every day with the rising skyscrapers. Magnificent, one-of-a-kind India's financial capital and home to the world's second-largest movie industry, a city of stars yet a City of slums, with alluring history and heritage.
       The Bustling city offers the most breathtaking vistas, monuments, and eminent architecture, as well as a varied and exotic food scene, along with world-class shopping. No wonder Mumbai is India's dream destination.





1. Marine Drive - If you want to get the vibe of Mumbai, then you shouldn't miss visiting Marine Drive. Picturesque, and a great place for people to watch and go for a jog or lazy strolling.  Mumbai's ethereal charm, known as the queen of the night, is the city's glory and the glitter of Mumbai. In spite of the crowd flocking all the time, you feel surprised by the sense of serenity and peace this place manifests.



2. Eat in Mumbai's oldest landmark restaurant - Experience eating Persian food in Mumbai's oldest restaurant, opened in 1923, Britania and Company, with the colonial interior and the charm of an era gone by, and a glimpse of Persian influence in Mumbai, and have the taste of the best berry pulao you've ever tasted. Only open for lunch.



3. Shop in Colaba Causeway - Busy and vivid. Colaba Causeway is a street lined with open shops. Homedecor, clothes, jewelry, and souvenirs, to name a few, are what you don't get in Collaba Causeway. Get lost and loot in some ethenic and one-of-a-kind pieces.  Here you will need some good bargaining skills. Fun and frolic.




4. Stroll around the Iconic Gateway of India - Take some selfies with one of the Iconic monuments of India, and you just can't miss the grandeur of the Taj Hotel next to it. The Gateway of India was built to commemorate the 1911 royal visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai and was inaugurated on December 4, 1924.

Jurun...an assamese beautiful pre-wedding ceremony

  Indian weddings encompass many beautiful ceremonies and traditions. In Assamese culture, Jurun is a pre-wedding ceremony. It usually occurs a day or two before the wedding day, sometimes even on the same day of the wedding. Bartaco, West Hartford , Connecticut review

It was a usual February day, the chill felt like tucking in the furry comforter and stay cozy at home.
